Please read to understanding before purchasing
Cosmetics are shipped Monday thru Friday only, (excluding major holidays), within 24-48 hours of order placement. All cosmetics are shipped in well cushioned and secured packaging. Your order will be shipped via USPS, Uninted States Postal Service. USPS is our choice for economical and speedy expediting of your Golden Faces Cosmetics purchase. WE are NOT responsible for shipping times out of our control ie; weather, incorrect address given, customer not home at time of delivery, etc. Prices for shipping are subject to change. To make shipping arrangements via another carrier, please contact us. Any items that are not picked up from the mailing office or refused after delivery, is subject to a 30% per item restocking fee. Cost for re-shipment of the cosmetics will be at the customer's cost. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Shipping outside of the US Taxes & Custom Duties:
International Shipping Rates Will Vary. For orders that are shipped outside of the U.S. there will be local customs or duties. Please be aware that all countries have diffrent fees and procedure for incoming packages. Please check with your country's customs office for precise charges before placing your order. If you refuse your package and don't pay the duties and taxes, the package will be returned to us. You will be charged for all duties and taxes that are incurred by us, shipping costs both ways and all other handling fees. Golden Faces Cosmetics assumes no responsibility with respect to any tariffs, duties, or other such restrictions and charges imposed and/or enforced by the destination country. We are not keen on falsifying documents to avoid customs fees. If you are concerned about any fees that may be due via our preferred carrier, please contact us so that we may negotiate alternate shipping methods.
Cosmetic Delivery Damage
We use multiple layers of bubble wrap to protect your eye shadow palette during shipment. Default shipping method is via USPS priority flat rate envelope. We also use a "fragile" label or notification on the package to inform the delivery person to be more careful. Our experience indicates that 99% of the time, shipment will arrive in good condition. Even though we do everything we can to ensure you receive a perfect condition product, it could still be roughly handled and resulted damage. The handling of the package once it leaves us, is beyond our control. However, we do advise customers to select the "insured" option during their purchase selection. If shipping insurance is purchased, most items that are beyond repair (with lots of shadows broken) can be replaced. Items purchased with insurance can be replaced depending on if item is in stock or item may be returned for a refund after USPS approves the claim.
No insurance? Minor damage?: In the event that you receive palettes that may have a couple of broken pots, to quickly repair and make all new again, you simply need rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol, a dime (or proper sized coin or flat rounded item), and paper towel. Place a few drops of alcohol on top of the broken eye shadow, and put the paper towel on top of the eye shadow pot. Using the dime and apply even amount of pressure to press firmly (10 to 15 seconds). Final step is to just let it sit there and dry, it'll be good as new. When it's dried you can begin using it with no worries. Don't worry about added alcohol, it doesn't affect anything, eyes or eye shadow.
Insurance covers lost, stolen, or severly damaged items. Insurance is not required, however, is recommended. Insurance costs $2.00 per item. You may add the insurance as you are checking out. If you elect not to purchase insurance, there will be no chance for a replacement of lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Shipping insurance claims will have to be processed via USPS's claims process. Meaning a refund or replacement can not be honored until USPS has processed and accepted the responsibility of the loss, damaged, or stolen goods. This process can take up to 30 days. Please keep this in mind in the event that you would need products at a certain time. If USPS denies the claim, your shipping insurance will be refunded/credited back to your account. The buyer also has the option to work directly with USPS to handle the claim process themselves for reimbursement of damaged goods. Golden Faces Cosmetics retails cosmetics but does not manufacture them. We are unable to offer refunds for any
products that you try and simply dislike. Our prices are fairly low for your convenience. We DO NOT give refunds on opened or partially used products. Refunds are not given for allergic reactions to products. We encourage you to try new products at your own risk. What works well for one customer may not be suitable for the next customer.
Monitor Colors- Due to various monitor color settings and the limits of digital photography, it is difficult to guarantee exact makeup colors. Please expect to see slight color variations in cosmetic items when veiwed in person.
Sizes and Measurements- All product sizes are rough estimates. Approximate sizes are not 100% milimeter to milimeter to the "T". Returns are not accepted if some measurments are slightly off. We have measuremened items and pan sizes to the best of our ability.
Payment for your orders are processed via Paypal through a 168 bit encrypted checkout page and your personal and financial information is safeguarded. Paypal allows you to enter your payment information easily with no one seeing your financial information. YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO SUBMIT PAYMENT. All major credit cards and e-checks are accepted. E-checks must completely clear before items are shipped.
Chargebacks, Cancelled/Bounced Checks, Credit Card Fraud-We do not tolerate credit card fraud, cancelled or bounced checks, nor chargebacks. No expense will be spared and all fraud without exception will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. In addition, we will pursue civil legal action seeking any loss of income related to the fraud, including business, legal fees, research costs, employee down time and loss of revenues.We take credit card fraud and frivolous charge backs as a personal attack on our fiscal well-being.
We also considers credit card charge backs to be fraud if you made no reasonable effort to notify us that a problem existed, or to resolve or clarify a situation or matter. An email or letter normally resolves any misunderstandings, this is simply "common courtesy".
All frivolous charge backs not only costs our employees time away from our usual and customary matters of conducting normal business, but costs us money, therefore: YOU AGREE that if you choose to do business with Golden Faces Cosmetics and file a charge back with your credit card company and do not win the charge back argument, you agree to pay us $100.00 for our time responding to the matter. You authorize us to charge this amount to your credit card. If this charge is rejected, Golden Faces Cosmetics will peruse legal action to recoup losses for our time associated with responding to the charge back in addition to any other fees explained above.
Our Right to Refuse a Customer- Management reserves the right to cancel an order and/or issue a return, and pursue legal action against any customer who is deemed hostile. Hostile customers are those who initiate chargebacks without valid cause (particularly after the receipt of goods), initiate returns without any documentation or notification, threaten/harass staff members in person, over the phone, and via e-mail, and those who attempt to slander and/or commits acts of libel against www.GoldenFacesCosmetics.com , we will take all legal steps to refuse future service to such clients.
We are not interested in legal battles, but we are prepared to take them on when necessary.
Legal-You agree via your conducting business with Golden Faces Cosmetics that any legal action resulting from any transaction will be guided by the laws of and take place in the Golden Faces Cosmetics home state. You agree to reimburse us or any representative we may appoint for any legal expenses your actions may make us incur. We take fraud seriously. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The waiver of a breach hereunder does not waive any other or subsequent breach.
Addtional Policy Info on Chargeback-
- Customer understands that our company does not tolerate fraudulent chargebacks and will proceed to collect by any means necessary.
- Customer is responsible for attorney's fees, fees for collection agencies or third party intervention if client fraudulently charges back or does not pay monies owed.
- If Customer charges back fraudulently, client will owe $500 plus chargeback fees plus amount owed.
- Our Company will report any outstanding balances to the three main credit bureaus.
- Our Company will have the incident reported to anti-fraud databases, which will attempt to prevent any further purchases on the Internet.
- Our Company has a chargeback legal department and will file suit if necessary.
